August Tour

August is a great opportunity for folks up north to hear Stephen Hollen tell stories... or perhaps to see his Mark Twain One Man Show as he will be in Northern Ohio and near Lake Erie!

Diamond Jubilee Road Trip 2013

March 2013 will be the 10th anniversary of Stephen's very successful "Appalachian Jubilee Road Trip" back in 2003.  Next year He will be taking Appalachian stories, Mr. Mark Twain and perhaps even "Doc Hollen's Traveling Medicine Show" on the road for the "Diamond Jubilee Road Trip"!

Conneaut, Ohio

Thursday and Friday were spent on Lake Erie, in Conneaut, Ohio for Kent State's English Festival.  250 teenagers there for workshops all day and storytelling by me at the end of the day.  The day was rewarding, but the best part of it all was the little cottage on the shore of Lake Erie.  It was cozy and maybe 150 feet or so from the shore.  Lighthouses in the distance made for a lovely morning as they flashed off and on.

I stood and enjoyed the water and lighthouses as long as I could Friday morning, my birthday.  I wanted to stay longer, but the event called me to duty.
